Ab dem Jahr 1710 wurde das Grundwasser in der Gegend zwischen dem alten Dorf Ottakring (links) und dem neu gegründeten Neulerchenfeld am Linienwall (rechts) zur Versorgung von Palais in der Stadt genutzt. So wurde die Gardehof-Hofwasserleitung 1710 zur privaten Wasserversorgung des Palais der Ungarischen Garde errichtet. | |||||||||||||||
